The ‘Stan states and democratic, thirsty Europe; plus, a fitting obituary

I admire the blog published by Craig Murray, as I’ve stated before.

Today, he published two totally different items, each a short, succinct masterpiece, in my opinion.

One deals with the European attitude of accommodation towards the states of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Just follow the link [1] below (including a short video).

The other struck me as a superbly eloquent in memoriam to a politician and statesman who was not one of those strident African national leaders, to my knowledge. Again, just read a simple, direct (yet hard-hitting) appreciation of John Atta Mills, recently deceased President of Ghana. [2]
