Bulgaria, beware: “kids left free in the sweetshop”

Cash or accountability?

We here are all puzzled by the current machinations of the Bulgarian government and Lukoil – that’s only this week’s main popular conundrum.

The British electorate is equally perplexed – and exasperated – by recent events in its domestic, democratic agenda.

“Britain is being run by a “feral” elite whose members are responsible for a series of crises – from phone hacking to the row over bankers’ bonuses – which have scarred the country, a new, non-party group headed by the author Philip Pullman claims.”[1]

Have a look at their open letter[2]. Bravo! Is there any lesson, remotely, for tomorrow’s Bulgaria, here?
